Why are pets a necessity today?

Published by ascribe at 2:05 pm under pets, pets are a necessity Edit This

Gone are the days when only the elite kept pets a status symbol.

In today’s modern world, keeping a pet has become more of a necessity.

Even doctors are recommending the need of pets at home, for the elderly and heart patients. Taking care of pets and their company has proved to do wonders with some types of patients. A doctor I met recently says that all patients with elevated stress levels and high blood pressures are advised to immediately go in for having a personal pet, to effectively supplement to their drug doses.

In this cruel world, we have also observed that pets can be trusted to be more faithful than the human beings. A human being can pretend to be sober on face but may be aggressive inside. But unlike humans, pets have the same feelings on their face as inside.Pets can also be great companions to the infirm and the old, to guide ways in a better way. Pets have proved to act as a ‘walking stick’ of the old, in many cases.

Pets are more and more coming into the category of a ‘necessity’, rather than a status symbol. We would further discuss much more in the forthcoming columns.
